Playa de las Cucharas<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Start your adventure in Costa Teguise by exploring the famous Las Cucharas beach. Renowned for its golden sands and crystalline turquoise waters, this beach is perfect for relaxing and spending a fabulous day with the family. Its crescent shape provides natural shelter from the sea breeze that makes it the ideal choice for swimming and enjoying water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, standup paddleboarding and snorkelling. What\u2019s more, summer lasts all year round on Lanzarote<\/a>, which means that water sports are a great option at any time of year.<\/p>\n

Pueblo Marinero<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Designed by the famous local artist C\u00e9sar Manrique<\/strong>, this picturesque complex offers a unique mix of traditional Canary Island architecture and a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The heart of Pueblo Marinero is its main square, surrounded by charming whitewashed houses, restaurants, bars and shops<\/strong>. Here, visitors can stroll around the cobbled streets and soak up the authentic atmosphere of a traditional Canary Island fishing village.<\/p>\n

Jard\u00edn de cactus<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This magnificent garden celebrates all the beauty and diversity of cacti, whilst at the same time highlighting the island\u2019s unique landscapes<\/strong>. The garden boasts more than 1,400 different species<\/strong> of cacti from around the world, in myriad forms, sizes and colours. From tiny spherical cacti to majestic specimens rising up several metres in height, each plant in the garden is unique, offering a fascinating insight into the extraordinary adaptability and beauty of these plants. The aim of this project is to provide a unique space in which to celebrate the diversity of these plants, whilst at the same time promoting conservation and environmental awareness<\/strong>. The garden was also designed by C\u00e9sar Manrique.<\/p>\n

\"Jard\u00edn<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Monta\u00f1a Corona<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Its mountainous landscape is one of the most striking features of Lanzarote, which many compare with Mars<\/a> due to its rugged landscape and relief. The most iconic point of the island\u2019s volcanic system is Timanfaya<\/strong>, but we\u2019ve come up with an alternative closer to Costa Teguise \u2013 Mount Corona. Rising up some 609 metres, this mountain is one of Lanzarote\u2019s most outstanding and emblematic volcanic formations.<\/strong> \u00a0We strongly recommend taking a trip to the summit, where you can admire breathtaking views of the island, and also see the impressive crater. Apart from its natural beauty, Mount Corona<\/strong> also features a series of caves and lava tubes that are the result of the area\u2019s volcanic activity.<\/p>\n

Cueva de los Verdes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This volcanic cave is part of the system of tunnels and caves that weave and wind their way around the island\u2019s northern region, formed by volcanic eruptions that took place thousands of years ago. What makes Los Verdes Cave so impressive is its size and intricate network of underground passages that extend for more than 6 kilometres. These passages were formed by the lava flow during volcanic eruptions<\/strong> and provide a fascinating glimpse of the Earth\u2019s interior.<\/p>\n

The cave is named after the Verdes family, the former owners of these lands. For many centuries, the cave provided the island\u2019s inhabitants with a natural shelter<\/strong> that they used to take refuge from pirate attacks and also to store food.<\/p>\n

Teguise<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Teguise is an absolute must-see for everyone travelling to Lanzarote. <\/a>Nestling in the heart of the island, this charming town stands out for its authenticity, traditional architecture and its relaxed and laidback atmosphere<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
