THE TOP CYCLING ROUTES FOR TOURING IBIZA

Ibiza is a cycling heaven; its mild year-round climate and stunning scenery make this island the perfect place for fans of all abilities to enjoy cycling tourism routes.

Ibiza boasts more than 20 signposted and specially prepared routes that will take you through spectacular inland landscapes and magnificent coastal settings. Read on to discover our top 5 road routes on Ibiza.

 

ES PORQUET

Level of difficulty: Easy
Distance: 14 km
Duration: 1 hour
This route starts and finishes in the town of San Antonio, taking in the surrounding area before heading towards Buscatell, passing by ‘Pou de Forada’ and ‘Capella de Forada’ before continuing in the direction of the Can Rich winery and eventually returning to the starting point.

 

 

ES POBLES

Level of difficulty: Hard
Distance: 67.5 km
Duration: 5 hours
This route will take you through the towns of San Miguel, San Lorenzo, Santa Gertrudis, San Mateo, San Antonio and Corona. This is a circular route, so you can choose any point along the way to start pedalling.

 

 

FROM SA CALA TO SAN JUAN

Level of difficulty: Average
Distance: 22.4 km
Duration: 2 hours
North Ibiza is famous for its unspoilt green landscapes. This route starts at Cala San Vicente and ends in the town of San Juan Bautista. Along the way you will discover Cala Xarraca, renowned for having the most crystalline waters on the entire island.

 

 

ES PLANS

Level of difficulty: Average
Distance: 45.6 km
Duration: 3 hours
The perfect route for admiring the picture postcard vision of the almond trees in bloom in February and March. The route begins in San Antonio and takes you across two of the island’s flattest areas, the Corona and San Mateu plains, before making its way through Santa Gertrudis, Buscatell and returning to San Antonio.

 

 

ROUND IBIZA TOUR

Level of difficulty: Hard
Distance: 125 km
Duration: 7 hours 35 minutes
This route is highly recommendable for true cycling lovers and all those eager to explore the island of Ibiza on their bikes. Beginning and ending in Ibiza Town, it takes in the island’s finest beauty spots: Cala Llonga, Santa Eulalia, Es Canar, Cala de San Vicente, Puerto de Benirrás, Santa Agnes de Corona, San Antonio, San José and Es Cubells.
